他是刚刚转来我们昂立英语班的,个子矮小,但是他的聪明真令人刮目相看。那是他刚来我们班的第一节英语课堂上,他的英语口语真令人赞叹,能用英语和老师进行流利地对话。有些单词和句子我们连听也没听过,更别提用了,可他在与老师的一问一答中显得那么地自如,娴熟,活像一个小洋人似地,满嘴叽里呱啦的,都不知道他们在讲什么,同学们佩服地向他投去了羡慕的目光,还情不自禁的拍起了热烈的掌声,他用英语说了谢谢,我们的掌声更热烈了。老师也用赞赏的目光看着他。

他还是个热心人。课后,同学一碰到英语难题,跑去问他。他都能耐心的讲解,从不露出不耐烦,这就令同学们更加赞叹不已了。在课间时间,他身边从来就没有断过人,同学们有太多的问题要向他请教,包括我在内,我也想问。可同学们在她身边围得水泄不通,我很难排上队。我心里想:算了,看来这个学期我是没有机会和他请教问题了。没想到他竟从人群中穿了出来,问我:“这位同学,你有问题吗?|”我喜出望外

地说:“请问,这道题的这个单词怎么读?”他说:“ fr ghtened是害怕的意思。”“fr ghtened”我跟他读了两遍,怎么了?那么安静?教室里顿时鸦雀无声,我正奇怪:这是怎么了?原来大家都在听他读英语呢!他是我们班读音最标准的一个,我们都没有读得这么好,有的连不会读。

他还拿过很多的奖。参加过各种各样的赛事,均获得优异的成绩。在市级英语比赛中,拿过一、二、三等奖简直不计其数。就拿最近的来说吧,今年年初,他到北京参加了全国“倒背如流新概念”大赛中,荣获国家级二等奖的优异成绩,为我们学校挣了光,全校还提倡向他学习呢!

我校的英语角更是他展示英语水平的平台,他向老外介绍我们柳州的名胜古迹和旅游胜地,就连柳州的小吃——螺蛳粉也让他说得老外馋得直流口水,还连连给他竖起了大拇指。他还会做翻译,把我们要讲的话翻译给老外听,又把老外的.意思解释给我们听。我建议如果你要出国,最好带上他,让他来给你当翻译。

The pudding is then wrapped with bamboo leaves, bound with a kind of raffia and boiled in salt water for hours.

学习就是一场战役,只有你把相应的敌人(指课程)彻底打败,才算胜利。这场战争你可以出奇制胜。也可以按部就班。一步步的走。但最终的结果必须要胜利。学习亦是如此,做为学生,共要在学校呆十几年的时间,学习做为学生的任务。是必须要完成的。在林林总总的学生中,好学者有之,厌学者更多。为了让学生学好科学文化知识,任课教师也是在不断的与学生们在斗智斗勇。想尽在奇招。这不,我们的英语老师宣布了一项命令。

记得那天的第一节英语课,老师就打下了预防针。老师把我们全班分了十二个小组。每天上课检查课文和单词的背诵,实际上就是两个人分别各背一遍,谁背得又快又好,就赢了,加分;输了,就扣分。另外每人每天都要教听力条,不交的,扣20分。另外,每学期都要一清分,正分的组,有奖励。负分的组,需挑一人抄课文。老师刚一说完,全班好象炸开了锅,议论纷纷:这课还怎么上啊,这制度简直要人命啊!就是呀,这哪是上课啊!我抗议!不少同学直接提出抗议,结果老师给全班小组都扣了30分,某些同学被罚今晚抄课文,全班同学都傻了。立刻变得鸦雀无声。

下了课,同学们愤愤不平,可是,又能怎么样呢?我们班的闹事大王可是头一次吃这么打的亏,头一次遇到这么严厉的老师。不少同学在默默背课文,强压着心里的怒火。

第二天上课上,老师第一件事就是查听力字条。结果,全班不少小组都吃了哑巴亏,扣分像流水似的。之后老师又检查课文背诵,有好几个同学像结巴了一样,支支吾吾了半天,什么也没背出来,结果每人被罚抄课文,又扣了20分,只能悻悻离去。同学们一个个大眼瞪小眼,惊恐的看着老师。

就这样,几个月下来,全班小组都成了负分,这意味着,全班寒假都要抄课文了。同学们很多都垂头丧气,任人宰割。但是还得学习。但有一天,事件终于迎来了转机。

这天,刚一上课,英语课代表就把手举得高高的。干什么呀?老师拿书敲了一下桌子,问英语课代表。老师严肃的目光又有点让人害怕,看着课代表。课代表赶紧避开英语老师的目光,说:我要挑战。刚说完,全班好几十双眼睛齐刷刷的瞪着她。她顿了一下,可能是对老师的威严有点儿害怕。我要挑战,她转过身,指向副课代表老赵。他。这时,全班的目光又投向了老赵。谁?站起来!老师那敏锐的双眼仔细瞧着每一个同学,老赵还没起来,老师已经走到他身边了。老赵站了起来,目光慌乱,低头看着桌子。这时,老赵的同桌一再给他打气。小声说:紧张什么呀?咱们不可能让女生给比下去。准备好了吗,那就开始吧。老师的话语中带着鼓励。老赵抬起头来,他的目光与老师的目光相遇了,仿佛擦出了火花。他知道,不比不行了。

老师拿起书,敲了几下桌子,郑重地说:这是你们班第一次主动挑战赛,你们不应该忘记!开始!老师一声令下,英语课代表抢先背诵。时间仿佛凝固住了,令人喘不过气来。英语课代表不愧是英语课代表,不一会儿,就背完了,没有丝毫错误,十分流利。同学们不仅鼓起了掌。该老赵背了,他刚开始背,有点语塞,不一会就好了。他虽然背的也很好,但和英语课代表来说,还略逊一筹。全班静了下来,等待老师发话。

过了好一会儿,老师终于说话了:每人各加二十分!全本顿时响起了热烈的掌声!掌声过后,好几个同学举起了手。

从此,在英语课上,要比赛的人络绎不绝。记得是快期末考试的时候,上级教育主管部门来我们学校抽查各门学科成绩。我们班在全级里是成绩最好的,在口语课上,别的班的同学不少都磕磕绊绊,而我们班同学们大多同色的完成了老师的提问。并且很多同学都对答如流。为什么呢?这都是在课文比拼中,大家都锻练了自己英语灵活运用能力和表达的勇气,培养了同学们的沉着和机智,以及争强好胜向上的心!

我得感谢我们的老师,是她出奇制胜,想出了这样一个妙招,调动了同学们的学习热情。实现了我们班英语成绩的大幅度提高。英语作为一门语言,只有多练,多学,听说读写四步同时进行才能收到好的学习效果。我相信,老师的良苦用心,我们会在以后的学习中受益无穷。
