大学生英语演讲稿1

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, today, I would like to introduce my beloved hometown—Inner Mongolia to all of you. It has been 57 years since the birth of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on May 1st, 1947. Dominated by the Mongolian nationality, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is located on the northern frontier of China. The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region occupies an area of 1.18 million square kilometers and has a population of about 20 million people who represent a score of different nationalities. Every time when people talk about Inner Mongolia, they’ll cne down to the vast grassland. Yes, the Inner Mongolian prairie area makes up a quarter of the total grassland area of the country. On the boundless expanse of the Inner Mongolian prairie are living numerous sheep, Cattle and horses, on which our Mongolian have lived for generations. That is why the grassland is eulogized as “cradle of life”. There are two vast grasslands in my hometown—Hulun Buir Grasslands and Xilin Gol Grasslands which are both world-famous regions. People in Inner Mongolia are famous for their bravery, enthusiasm and hospitality. No mater where you are from, as long as you cne to a herdsman’s house, you will be warmly entertained with roasted whole lamb and milk tea, and what’s more, you can also appreciate beautiful Mongolian songs and elegant dances. It is not exaggerating to say Mongolians are born singers and dancers. The moment you set your feet on the grassland areas you will discover it is indeed a real land of songs and dances.

Today’s Inner Mongolia still maintains her ethnic characteristics and at the dame time, she tries to keep pace with the development of the modern world. Ordus is a worldwide well-known brand, Yili and Mengniu are both the famous dairy industries, which have greatly improved the living standard of our Mongolian people. And I’m sure, our Mongolian people will make great effort to contribute to our hometown. As a college student, I know quite clearly that my mission is to master solid knowledge and one day do good to my beloved hometown.

ladies and gentlemen, i can say i'm no less nervous than my fellow and he was on the first time coming before this house. i can say ladies and gentlemen, that the problem we are facing before us, the problem that i have to deal with today, is how to define success.

it is often too easy, it is often too simplistic to define success as something external, something objective, something dealing with money, fame or reputation. but what i believe success is that it is not external. it comes from within. it is internal. i believe success is that you have to have your own ideals, and that you have faith in those ideals, even in the face of extreme adversity. and that is my definition of success.

i also believe that success is not discriminatory. success does not attach to a mere particular class of individuals. i believe that each and every individual, regardless of race, gender, class or even economic background, has an equal right to success, because each person has the right to develop his own ideals and to pursue those ideals.

a good example of this is the composer beethoven, a man who all of us know has created great symphonies. this man was deaf. this man was unable to hear his own majestic pieces of work. and yet, he held to his ideal of creation of music to the very end. then what exactly does the definition of success mean to me? to answer this question, to exemplify it, i pose a question to this house. i pose a question what brings us here together today, ladies and gentlemen, students and educators as you like. and the answer that i have found is the love for the spoken word.

love for the spoken word means how it is to express, how it is to listen, how it is to understand. because what happens when you have a pause, what happens when you have a rhetoric speech all differs on the impact and communication that you have on your audience. but the meaning of the spoken word applies ever more strongly to those who are unable to speak, or are unwilling to speak. because all the beautiful thoughts and emotions encapsulated in that person will inevitably be lost, if that person is not able to speak.

i once went to australia in 1998,and i saw two pictures drawn by three-year-old children. one was drawn by a normal child, one was drawn by what is known as an autistic child, a child which is exclusive, which is unable to express himself verbally to other people. and you could see the difference between the pictures. one was a picture of a horse very simple and straightforward. one was a picture of a horse a gain, but you could see the life, you could see the spirit, and you could see the detail behind that picture.

so the point i want to make here is that these people do have emotion they understand a lot, but it is very very fatal that they are not able to express themselves. and my definition of success is to share with them the beauty of the spoken word. my definition of success is to teach and be able to change these people's lives, because i have had the opportunity of encountering these people in my times either at school or during my summer jobs. i have had the time and opportunity to change these people. i have had the time to see exactly what exactly they go d1rough and to understand that point.

my ideal here is to share the beauty of the spoken word to these people. it is fright fatal that these people are not given the opportunity to be understood by the world. i say it because these people are often neglected by the public. i say it because people often think they are awkward and different. but i say we cannot forgive these acts because we must have a proactive approach to teach these people.

i say, ladies and gentlemen, that is important to keep your ideals. i say we should not have a premature abortion of ideals. it is easy to stray; it is easy to be distracted. what i say is let your ideals live on. let the child of your ideals live on, because what i want to leave you with is living you life without an ideal means that your life is not worth living at all. thank you.

say growing up in rich family promotes children's personality and character. Some think otherwise. What's your opinion? Why?

Well, it's quite a question argued by people all the time. I think a person's personality has little relation to his family economic level. It's commonly said that a child in rich family will has more chances and better choice for his study. However, if the kid himself isn't aware of this, that is all in vain. It's not unusual that many children from rich family are quite rude and conceited although they are always receive the best education. Then, how about the poor family's children? There is another saying that adversity cultivates heroes. To be honest, I disagree with it too. Poor children should learn harder and catch every chance to strengthen themselves. However, the reality is often not like that. Subjectively speaking, poor children are easy to feel inferior and thus can't study well. Even if they study well, they hardly do well in practicing ability. Objectively speaking, poor children can hardly receive good and plentiful education because of the economic limit. That will cause deficiency in some literal or artistic talent such as music or dance. Therefore, I think children's personality have little relation to their family situation.

universities, students should take history courses no matter what field they study. Do you agree?

I disagree with it even though I do know history is important. I'm a student major in electricity. To be honest, I think there is little sense for students in university taking history courses no matter what field they study. Maybe many people would say, history is something left by our ancestors, so we shouldn't forget it. Yes, I agree with that. History need to be remembered. But in fact, we have been learning history from primary school. I really it's enough for people like me whose major has little relation to history. I just take history exam last year. For me, it was really a nightmare. I spent so much time on it and still can remember all. Now that we're chosen engineering, I can't understand why we need and have to learn history again. The time spent on history learning should be used for our major courses.

Dear teachers, fellow students, friends:

Good evening,everyone:

At this moment, I stood on the podium, I was very nervous, not because I can speak well, but all of you, in the future may become my leader, may be my boss.

There is a saying: "graduation is unemployment." Yes, in school, we live in the school, parents, life is carefree, facing graduation, we face to accept the test of survival. In the current employment situation is very grim today, college students in the future life is a loss, on the job is full of fear, but not because of fear of escape, today, is that we want to discuss the issue of employment of university students.

So everyone has to adjust their mentality, to be willing to start from the foundation, do not start on their own positioning too high, free of the next step. Once your ability has been discovered by the boss, don't you say natural boss will give you a raise, promote you. The last result of a pay raise every day may be noisy, because the boss found that you are not worth a month, so you do not give you a raise, you are still in trouble, that the results can be imagined. The person who really has the ability is not to quarrel with a raise, but the boss will give you a raise.

At this moment, I want to tell you a story, which is happening in the story of the early Yuan dynasty. On a sunny afternoon, a young man he walked pass, travel over land and water, across the grasslands of Mongolia, has come to being outside the combat troops of Gen Gi Khan outside the tent, the young man had come, the guard carefully searched his body is not found, weapons, and then let him into the tent. Gen Gi Khan came to see people are very polite, ask before you know, the young man came to him. The young man called Yelvchucai, is a growth in the Khitan nobles, Yanjing, which is today's Beijing, his ancestor Yelv abaoji is the Liao Liao Dynasty, with a great reputation. After the meeting, Gen Gi Khan arranged a job for him, a day to write the meeting minutes the clerk, an occasional aristocratic Mongolia fortune, divination divination about what the stars. Not because Jerzy Ruchuna refused, he readily accepted the job. Later, he did the prime minister from a small officer, and a prime minister is the prime minister to do, made a great contribution to the development of the Yuan Dynasty, but also realize the value of life.

From this story, I realized that college students looking for work to be considered from three aspects, first should dare to take the initiative to find work, dare to take the initiative to find employment opportunities; second don't have any work need to persevere, work is not great; third, do not think that their starting point is high, we must engage in higher put your own work, to find a suitable. Now the competition is fierce, students have to do the waiter's feet, every job is a chance, the opportunity is not everywhere. We college students to truly out of the ivory tower, it is to take the initiative to seek employment opportunities.

I can never forget the summer in 1996. I went through an extremity of despair due to my failure in the National College Entrance Examination. It seemed that my dream of being a university student would never come true. One evening my father came and told me the story of Steven Callahan, who was crossing the Atlantic alone in his sailboat when it struck something and sank. It was a miracle that he survived and was found 76 days later(the longest anyone has survived a shipwreck on a life raft alone). Later in his narrative he wrote these sentences "I tell myself I can handle it ared to what others have been through I’m fortunate".

Hearing these sentences I felt something important struck me. I belived my life would mot be that bad and it was proved to be true. Later during my study in the university I always told myself "I can handle it" when my own goals seemed far off or when my problems seemed too overwhelming and every time I said it ,I always came back to my senses.

, I will tell the same story of Callahan to them. I just want to make them believe they can handle their difficulties because their circumstances are only bad compared to something better. But others have been through much worse. Then they will build up fortitude.

So here, coming to us from the extreme edge of survival, are words that can give us strength. Whatever you’re going through, tell yourself you can handle it. Compared to what others have been through, you’re fortunate. Tell this to yourself over and over, and it will help you get through the rough spots with little more fortitude.

Distinguished judges,teachers,dear friends:

Hello, everybody! My name is,I come from。 Today,I am very glad to stand here and share with you my most sincere speech‘Flying youth, master our future!’

Life is a process of growing up。 Saying goodbye to childhood,we step into another important time of life‘the youth’。However, who can really say what the youth is?A period of time?A belief? An attitude to life?Or anything else?We don’t know。

A famous poet said ‘ youth is a lovely song, where nothing is impossible;youth is a meaningful book, you’ll be never bored of it;youth is a rapid river,it keeps on flowing day and night;youth is a cup of tea,it shows you different kinds of tastes in your life。 ’

As youth is so precious,of course,we must treasure it 。Don’t let the limited time pass by,leaving nothing of significance to our future。 Actually, youth has a lot to do with our future。 It’s necessary for us to prepare ourselves well for the future to come。 So,what should we do?Here,I’ll point out some tips to help equip ourselves

First of all, recognize the direction of your future。 In other word, think of what you’d like to be some day。 A teacher?A doctor?A writer?Don’t afraid of thinking big and great 。Since you are young, you can dream of doing anything and becoming anyone in the future

What’s more, never ignore the power of knowledge。 Read more books and travel around。 For one thing,it can increase your knowledge, for another,it’ll broaden your horizon。

Last but not the least, stick to your dream。 It easier said than done。 After all, future is not all roses。 So,we should have enough courage and determination to overcome all the difficulties。

I firmly believe one sentence that‘If you think you can,of course you can!’Just believe we can make it!Keep on walking towards our dream。 Flying youth, master our future。 From today, from now on,from xx Middle School!Ready?

That’s all。 Thank you so much for your attention!

Honourable judges, ladies and gentlemen:

Good afternoon! Today I would like to talk about the importance of keeping opti

mistic. When we encounter difficulties in life, we notice that some of us choose to bury their heads in the sand. Unfortunately, however, this attitude will do you no good, because if you will have no courage even to face them, how can you conquer them? Thus, be optimistic, ladies and gentlemen, as it can give you confidence and help you see yourself through the hard times, just as Winston Churchill once said, "An optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity; a pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity."

Ladies and Gentlemen, keeping optimistic, you will be able to realize, in spite of some hardship, there’s always hope waiting for you, which will lead you to the ultimate success. Historically as well as currently, there are too many optimists of this kind to enumerate. You see, Thomas Edison is optimistic; if not, the light of hope in his heart could not illuminate the whole world. Alfred Nobel is optimistic; if not, the explosives and the prestigious Nobel Prize would not have come into being. And Lance Armstrong is also optimistic; if not, the devil of cancer would have devoured his life and the world would not see a 5-time winner of the Tour De France.

A rose may be beautiful, or maybe not; that depends on your attitude only, and so does success, so does life. Hindrances and difficulties do exist, but if you are optimistic, then they are only episodes on your long way to the throne of success; they are more bridges than obstacles! Now I prefer to end my speech with the great British poet Shelley’s lines: "If winter comes, can spring be far behind?" Thank you!

His Excellency Jiang Zemin's Speech

Mr. Levin,

Distinguished guests, friends and colleagues,

Ladies and gentlemen,

On this splendid moonlit night in mid-autumn, as we gather in the beautiful city of Shanghai, located on the coast of the Eastern Sea, let me, on behalf of the Chinese government and people, extend a warm welcome to the friends who have come to take part in the '99 Fortune Global Forum, which is sponsored by Time-Warner Group Inc.

This forum's theme is "China: the next 50 years." China is a large developing socialist country, and its future development will not only directly affect the future of the Chinese people, but will also have important impact on the development and progress of Asia and the world.

Over the past hundred-odd years, the Chinese people have gone through storm and stress, and in the course of vigorous struggle they have accomplished a great historic transformation. New China's 50 years of development have resulted in accomplishments that have astonished the world.

Only six years ago, in this Lujiazui District of Shanghai's Pudong area, where we are gathered this evening, there were only run-down houses and farms. Now it is a vibrant modern financial and business zone, full of highrise buildings. Over fifty years ago, I was in Shanghai attending university. At that time, I had a deep sense of the poverty, backwardness and feebleness of the old China. It was then that I decided to devote myself to the noble task of building an independent, free, democratic, unified, rich and powerful New China, and I have been struggling for that to this very day. Fourteen years ago, I became mayor of Shanghai and experienced the process of reform, opening-up and modernization in this, China's biggest city. I'm sure that all of you have seen with your own eyes the constant and unceasing transformation of Shanghai. The growth of Shanghai is one reflection of the enormous changes taking place in China.

In the first 50 years of the 20th century, the Chinese people made unflagging efforts to change the tragic fate that had been theirs ever since the Opium War. After arduous and valiant struggle, they finally ended their semi-colonial and semi-feudal history, won independence for the nation and freedom for the people, and founded the People's Republic of China under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

In the latter half of the 20th century, relying on their own efforts, the Chinese people went all out to make their country strong, and began socialist construction. On the poor and deprived foundation of old China, they built a relatively complete industrial structure and national economic framework, raising the levels of their cultural and material lives significantly. China started marching forward steadily toward prosperity. Now, the Chinese people are confidently taking the road to the future, the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics pioneered by Comrade Deng Xiaoping. These historic initiatives of the Chinese people have fundamentally transformed the tragic fate of modern China, and they are also great contributions made by the Chinese

people to the cause of human progress.

At this moment in time, when we are about to step into the 21st century and look ahead at the prospects for the next 50 years, we are filled with confidence. The Chinese people will firmly and unswervingly follow the path of reform and opening-up. Our goal is to realize modernization by the middle of the coming century, to make our country a wealthy, strong, democratic and civilized modern socialist country, and to achieve the great revival of the

Chinese nation.

Here, I would like to speak to you about some basic values of the Chinese people. Without an understanding of these, it is difficult to make sense of present and future events in China.

The Chinese people have always respected the dignity and worth of human beings. The Communist Party of China led the people in revolution, construction and reform for the very purpose of realizing freedom, democracy and human rights for all the people of China. The great vitality displayed nowadays in China vividly demonstrates the tremendous space that the Chinese people have to freely and democratically exercise their creativity. China has a population of over 1.2 billion, but its social production is still not well developed, and we must first and foremost safeguard the people's rights to survival and development; otherwise we cannot even begin to talk about other rights. The fact that China has assured the rights to survival and development of over 1.2 billion people is a major contribution to the cause of the progress of human rights all over the world. The Chinese people advocate the close interlinking of collective human rights with individual human rights, of economic, social and cultural rights with citizens' political rights. This is the road we must take for the cause of promoting human rights in light of China's national conditions.

The Chinese people have always insisted on independence. They cherish the rights of independence that they have won over a long period of struggle, and they resolutely uphold the right of all people to enjoy these rights. We also believe that every country has the right to choose the social system, ideology, economic system and path of development that suit its national conditions. Countries with different social systems should respect each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity; they should treat each other as equals and coexist peacefully. We oppose any efforts by any country to impose its own social system and ideology on another country.

The Chinese people have always loved freedom and peace. The Chinese people have suffered greatly from wars and invasions in modern times, and they feel deeply how precious peace is. As it engages in modernization, China needs a peaceful international environment. We hope that all people will be able to live in a world without war and without violence. China carries out a foreign policy with peace as its goal, and resolutely opposes any acts that endanger world peace. China's development does not pose a threat to anyone, instead, it will only help to advance world peace, stability and development. It is the Chinese people's solemn promise to the world never to seek hegemony.

The Chinese people have always prized national unity. To safeguard the unity of the motherland is the firm aspiration of the entire Chinese people. Hong Kong has already returned to the motherland; Macao will return on December 20 this year. It is certain that the Taiwan question will eventually be resolved. No country will allow its own territory to be split off, nor will it allow any foreign force to create or support such a split. Our guideline for solving the Taiwan question is "peaceful reunification and one country, two systems." In resolving the Taiwan question, we will not undertake to renounce the use of force precisely for the purpose of bringing about a peaceful resolution of the Taiwan question. The Chinese people have both the determination and ability to achieve the complete reunification of their motherland. The series of recent severe earthquakes that occurred in the region of Taiwan weight heavily on the heart of everyone in China. I would like to take this opportunity to again express profound condolences to our compatriots in Taiwan who have suffered from the earthquakes.

The world is a colorful and varied one. The people of each country follow the path of development they have chosen for themselves and pursue their own ideals. This is an I inevitable demand and basic criterion for the progress of human civilization and world democracy. It is therefore an unstoppable tide of history. We believe that the different social systems that exist in the world and the dissimilarities in political beliefs should not be used as obstacles to the various kinds of normal economic and technological cooperation and exchange. All you business leaders tonight are outstanding achievers in your respective fields. You have a wealth of successful experiences and strategic vision. Set your eyes on China. China welcomes you. China's modernization

needs your participation, and China's economic development will also offer you tremendous opportunities. I hope that Chinese enterprises will learn from the advanced experiences of foreign enterprises. They must go out and temper themselves in the winds and storms of economic globalization, and build up their own competitiveness. The Chinese government will offer good terms to and create a better environment for foreign enterprises investing here.

China's development and that of other countries, the development of the South and that of the North in the world are all interlinked and complementary. They should step up exchanges and cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. The Chinese people hope to lead peaceful and happy lives, and also hope that the people of other countries will enjoy peaceful and happy lives. The people of all countries should strive hand in hand to overcome all the challenges to human survival, protect the ecological environment, narrow the gap between rich and poor, build a just and rational international economic order, and achieve common development and universal prosperity. The developed countries should assume more responsibilities in this regard, and the developing countries should constantly seek to do better for themselves.

The human race has reached another historic moment---the turn of a century and a change of millennium. The initiative lies in the hands of the people of each country. Let us make a joint effort for the noble cause of advancing peace and human progress! I strongly believe that China will have a better tomorrow and that the world will have a better tomorrow.

Thank you.

honorable judges and dear friends, my name is maer dongyan, i’m very happy today to stand here to share my speech, my imagination, and my story as an air traffic controller with all of you.

i, as a 35-year-old air traffic controller, have been working on the tower for nearly ten years. through these years’ working, i really come to love this job. besides, as the husband of my beloved, the father of my 8-year-old daughter, and the son of my old parents, i also love my family, a happy family.

however, it has been really hard to coordinate my work and my family.

it’s generally considered great to be an air traffic controller by the public, for the job is believed to be well-paid and quite easy. i was also one of them before i started the work. but things have been entirely different from what i used to think. as an air traffic controller of the new century, we’re facing tasks and barriers greater and harder than ever, that is, we have to ensure the safety and order of the fast-developing civil aviation. we’re burdened with pressure, responsibilities, the trust of hundreds of pilots, the lives of tens of thousands of passengers, and the hopes of millions of families. every step we take, every word we say is connected to the safety of passengers. and disasters may occur if we’re even a little bit careless. then, how can that be easy?

as a man who owns a family, i also have to take care of my family. still, it isn’t that easy. since i took the job 10 years ago, i haven’t had enough time to be with my family. so many festivals have i spend with microphones, but not my family and friends, just because my job needs me. so many times have my wife

i often wonder what friendship is. friendship is too big a topic to talk about either specifically or generally. i guemost of us are still in a puzzling state about what friendship is, and i myself should be included. maybe people who define friendship according to his own life experience will say that they have a good concept of friendship, which i think is too narrow to get an objective

definition of it. but how hard it would be to talk about friendship without mixing personal feeling in it, especially when it comes to the matter of closest friend. so here i would like to share my views with you about friendship, about my closest friend. i have had friends since i was born, some of whom have come along with me through my life, and it is impossible to always keep your friends around you since departure is one part of life that everybody must experience. though some of you may oppose me by exaggerating the connotation of the concept of being together that is friends may not stay together physically but they can stay together always psychologically,i still hold that departure is an absolute thing. how could it be possible that your friend (even your closest friend) always keeps you in heart as he/she had, is having and will have different experiences from yours? somehow different experiences make up of different hearts. man’s heart is a quite strange thing. never think that one can wholly touch it. sometimes our heart is so abstract that you don’t even know how to get to them. if we take heart as a cube, and closest friend a gentle breeze, this breeze can only blow one facet of this cube from one direction and can rarely reach any other sides of your

heart. i’m not sure whether i have put it very clearly but believe me that there are no fixed closest friend in your life. with different time, place, space, emotion and situation, you have

different closest friends. when i play basketball, i have a closest friend who knows how to cooperate with me and together give our opponents a deadly attack; when i am alone and feel so lonely, i have a friend who can always comfort me by saying that he is my friend; when i am in need of money, the one who comes all the way and lend his money to me without any hesitation is my closest friend.

when i am proud and a friend dares to stand out to warn me that i should keep modest, he is my closest friend; and, when i read old man and the sea, i think hemingway is my best friend. you see then, how many closest friends i have. but i must say, though i always want to keep all of them in my heart, they are not actually always in my heart. they have their own friends and their own life. winston churchill once said that there’s no perpetual friend, nor perpetual enemy, only perpetual interest. i guehe’s right in some way.personally i think it is a shame for people who take a pet as his closest friend as this is a sheer insult to human being and an absolute indignity for the word friendship. if a dog is his closest friend, what is human to him? you can imagine how would a person with his animal closest friend do to people. and maybe sometimes a dog can give him mental comfort, but what a dog likes best is just a bone. friendship is indeed an inborn desire of mankind, and it is relationship between people, not between people and animals. if you seek friendship, please seek it from people, from people around you.actually i have much more to say but…

your criticism welcome

As we all known thinking is easy acting is difficult and to put one's thoughts into actions is the most difficult thing in the world。

So if we want to learn English well,we must practice reading English everyday, actually practicing repeatedly is the best way to succeed。When you speak, don't care how poorly or how well you speak just care about catching the chance to speak, enjoy losing face or just forget your face because the more you speak the better your English will become, never afraid of making mistakes because the more mistakes you make the more progress you will make。As a man living in the world,we must try our best to make each day our masterpiece and don't let our parents down, don't ever let our country down, most importantly don't let ourselves down。

Yesterday is a memory tomorrow is a dream so live for today just do it right now。I believe if you can dream it you can make it,if you do you will win if you don't you won't。Believe in yourself trust yourself try your best。 don't give up,never give in,never lose hope, never say impossible 。The success is coming!

Thank you!

Honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen,

Good evening,

I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! I hope you will like it .

First I want to ask you some questions:

1、Do you know what is youth?

2、How do you master your youth?

Everyone has his own understanding of young. In xxx, youth is the time of life when one is young, but often means the time between childhood and adulthood (maturity). It is also defined as "the appearance, freshness, vigor, spirit, etc., characteristic of one who is young". Its definitions of a specific age range varies, as youth is not defined chronologically as a stage that can be tied to specific age ranges; nor can its end point be linked to specific activities, such as taking unpaid work or having sexual relations without consent.

In my opinion, Youth is not only a certain time of your life; also it is the shape of your mind. It is not only bright eyes, sweet smiles, nice voices, supple bodies, but also it is the way that you think and act.

Youth is a lively topic, youth is a mature turning.

Youth is like a gust of wind blowing, leaving only the dusty back.

We have been or are embrace the youth, we will lose our youth.

Some people say that youth is a scrap of paper, of no use. Every attempt nothing and accomplish nothing, only know to eat, drink, play, music, do not know how to study hard, do not know how parents bitterness, do not understand the meaning of life. Also some people, although they are unknown to the public, but they cherish their youth, cherish their own every second.

As a new era of college students, should cherish the youth, to seize every minute to learn. We must hold to our youth, do not waste one's life. On the road of growing up, do every thing, each reading a good book, learn every bit of knowledge. We should not idle about all day, abandoned their studies. We want to make sure that the goal of life for themselves, to pursue the ideal of life. This is the youth: full power, full of expectations, voluntary, full of knowledge and the struggle of ambition.

Youth is a song, sing the life the most memorable fragment; youth is a painting, draw the outline of the most wonderful scene; youth is a poem, to praise the most beautiful moment in life; youth is the only way which must be passed to each of us in our life, it plays a significant role.

I hope my short speech will make you see the things clearly.
